Special Note: It may happen that when first turned on, that the LCD Display is so dark that it’s almost unreadable.

If that happens, press the F1 (Menu Key), then press the Dual-Purpose “WIDTH” KEY 2 times, to bring up the “LCD Contrast” selection.

Then press repeatably the Dual-Purpose “FREQUENCY DN Key” to Brighten the display.
