Special Note: It may happen that when first turned on, that the LCD Display is so dark that it’s almost unreadable.

If that happens, press the F1 (Menu Key), then press the Dual-Purpose “WIDTH” KEY 2 times, to select the “LCD Contrast” selection.

Then press repeatably the Dual-Purpose “FREQUENCY DN Key” to Brighten the display.

Contrast (LCD Contrast – no Backlight) {be careful *}

Change by the Dual-Purpose “FREQ” Key, by Up (Darken)

Change by the Dual-Purpose “FREQ” Key, by Dn (Lighten)

{ * if the LCD Screen is unreadable, press the FREQ KEY “DN” for #times necessary }

Change by the Dual-Purpose “FREQ” Key, by Up to increase the SWR Range.

Change by the Dual-Purpose “FREQ” Key, by Dn to decrease the SWR Range.
